To say that Arden was surprised by the document shoved under her door would be an understatement, especially since she'd already been working up the courage to knock on Dean's door and apologize for, well, going off on him on Saturday. The contract itself had made her laugh a little, wince a little, and even blink a little, especially when the silver thorn spring just crumbled into dust without her even touching it. Which, of course, made her feel guilty, but hopefully Dean would understand.
Snagging a pen and the contract, she knocked on the door next to hers, hoping he'd be there.
Oh god would it be awkward if he wasn't there.
Please be there, Dean.
Please be there and alone, Dean.
[For the neighbor, but also open for visits and texts/calls!]
